A much needed item in every hikers food bag!

Snacks are very useful for suppling extra calories and varity into the usual hiker fare of mushy noddles.

Snacks vary from the healthful side (dried fruits, dried veggies, etc) to fillers (GORP,jerky) to junk food (candy bars, chex mix, combos, etc).

Snacks may be inhaled 3 or 4 times a day, or every 15 minutes. Timing determined by your tummy.

May also be used in gambling, I.E. poker for calories.
