This is a open burner 1/4 oz denatured alcohol burn time 7 min. and it made coffee. The flint and steel did not use to lite fire. Can do with fire piston does it better. I just needed some junk to full picture.

What did you use to make the stove?

Just one little spark off the steel will get the alcohol to fire up.

Where is your piston? What do you use for starter?

Is that your char in the round gizzmo?

What did you use to make the char?

Is that a drip coffe maker?

Did not make got off e bay
No a spark off flint&steel not hot enuff on to char cloth first then on oakum goes up in flame then lite stove
My piston right here beside me two more on its way
In the round gizzmo is a hudson bay box its got char cloth oakum flint & striker
I make my char cloth out of 3/4 wide kerosene wick cut into sq. its a lot stronger
No its works like a perk coffee maker
Well that it for now brake time
