Working on another stove made from parts of vegetable strainer. It will be a self contained stove, all one piece, no loose parts. parts move but stay attached.

one photo shows it open and one shows it closed.

One shows it with pot resting on opened windscreen/potstand.

What you see is a prototype not finished product.

Should have it done this comming weekend.

Gave it the name LOTUS because it reminded me of a Lotus flower blossom

I'm a stovie

Okay wackos .. with Incognitos "pocket smelter" and Seeker trying to put
the first alcohol stove into orbit with a rocket engine, one is forced to ask the
question, where will the madness end  ?
Where will this line of reasoning lead us....
napalm under a garbage can?
burn some LOX?
a little weapons grade plutonium in the esbit stove?

hmm ... stovies .... not quite right ..... in the head.

A segment from the best-selling novel- "Trail Dinner with Seeker":

"All personnel, please clear the launch pad"

"Standby to deploy ramen noodles"

"We are T - Minus 10 seconds to ignition..."

Mission Control, reports we are "GO" for dinner ... standby

...Three...
...Two...
...One....

"God speed little noodles"...

....napalm under a garbage can...

And where can I buy this stove?

I would have named it orbiter or moonraker as it reminds me of a satellite.
- solar wings opening off the main module -
Of course Turk's post might have started me thinking that way.

Anyway looks really neat.

I guess the "windscreen" then would have to double as reflector, to get the chainreaction going :fisheye:. Don't think this would be a no.1. for the ultralite! :elefant: But the coolness effect of having a beryllium oxide or tungsten carbide windscreen . ..
Napalm stove ? Would that be for napalm or napalm-b ? :turtle: - And where would I get one!

I'm not a real stovie, I only tinker with fuels (spirits, "sterno", vegetable oil, naphta, white gas, bio-diesel and kerosene) for my lamps and stoves.

Now, There's a Ideal Heck with alcohol, soda cans and windscreens all you will need is a pot stand. Does anyone know how quick this stuff boils water. Why didn't someone think about this sooner, You don't even need a burner just smere some napalm on the bottom of your pot and light. Just be sure not too get any on you are you're :vollkomme or at least missing a limb or two

Stopped at a library this afternoon and logged onto this site, everything was going just fine till i read these posts, i started laughing soooooo hard i could'nt stop, i then realised i was being watched by everyone around me. I don't think i was ever so embarrassed, i felt my cheeks and ears turn LAVA red/orange.

It was worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know which made me laugh more... Turk's post or the mental images of incognito laughing it up at the library.

I (kiddingly) asked Top some time ago: could he get us some C-4 to use non- combatively :elefant: . He declined, stating current homeland security concerns :damnmate: . I'm with him... don't want UPS delivering 2 lb RDX packages to my door. Boiling a pint of water in 60 seconds is beside the point.
