a Duck Under is a type of blowdown where one has to bend over slightly to step under the blow down

When you are 6'4" Duck Unders are a drag!! Especially when you hike about 10 or 15 feet before you realize it has snatched your hat off your head and there are cute snow bunnies standing nearby laughing at you !!! LOL Streamweaver
