Shave-weenie

Noun: "A Shave-weenie" A person that tries to cut grams from an item
that already weighs only a few grams. Has to calibrate expensive scales,
and hold their breath while monitoring wind speed to take a weight reading
on same items.

Verb: "To Shave-weenie" - the act of removing grams from gear that weighs
only a few scant grams. To remove weight from an object where the same
object does not even register on a normal hikers weight scale.

I think cost and time should be included. If someone spends an extra hundred bucks to shave less than an ounce, they should be ridiculed. Same thing if they spend an extra three hours on a DIY project for less than an ounce...unless there's also a 15 second decrease in boil time for a stove, obviously... :p
