Was goofing on the computer today (first time I've really had time in the last month - holidays). Anyway I decided to try making an animated GIF.
Don't know if I did it right, but here's my first effort.

I made it with Gimp.
Any suggestions appreciated.

The only thing I can think of that you should try is to make an invisibility mask. What that does is take the background out of the image - ad in this case you can probably do a mask by color to capture the entire background. This makes the image when finally displayed look like it is sitting on the same background as the rest of the post instead of in a small pic like this one does.

Having trouble with taking out the background.
I end up with all the pictures at once.
Going to need to experiment some more.

Well normally I would do something like that in Corel Draw. Take each picture seperatly in the series is the only way to do this. But basically you make each one have the mask, then you string them togeher in the Gif. You cannot do all of them from the first frame or it comes out all jacked up.
