View Full Version : Anyone heard from Sgt. Rock???

He said he was gonna be back in Feb. And I was gonna ship him a khukuri to try out but he hasn't checked in recently far as I can discern.

I'll bet he's as busy as a pair of jumper cables at a mexican wedding. Some times when units move in to replace another unit, the unit in place has to move to "transient" quarters, which usually means few amenities, like internet access. Also, when someone gets killed, they shut the internet access off for everyone.

SGT Rock is in the process of training his replacement and will be heading home very soon. I'm only getting to "talk" to him for very short periods of time now. However, by about this time in two weeks we should be heading back towards home from Fort Knox, KY.

DixieCritter, I am not considered a religous man, not even a bit, but thank God for people like you and your man.

The final days can be just as hard as the first days, just in a different way. Strength and courage to you both. (And the wives!)

Stay safe.
