I keep thinking about this one:

6. Himalayan Imports 15" Ang Khola khukuri. sharpened. used. some minor surface scratches from chopping. One tiny nick in blade, I will buff out before sending. comes with all original sheath and accessories.

I could probably get some Seal Skinz and DEET

Turk, you don't need or want %100 deet. That ultrathon in the toothpaste tube works better (that is the same thing the army uses in a green tube). The cream based stuff stays on your skin longer and your skin doesn't soak it up so fast (this is not a good thing for your liver).

Hey Turk,

I have a brand new Titan Kettle, still in shrink wrap, but no mesh sack. I would trade for that weathershield plus the bowl. What do you say?

I see that you are looking for a sheath for a Gransfors mini hatchet (sp?). Does that mean (probably) that you have one? How does it compare to the Gerber Back Paxe?

I can't speak for Turk, but I have a GB mini hatchet and also used to own a Gerber Back Paxe. There is simply no reasonable comparison to be made between them as far as quality goes, IMO.

If you just want a hatchet that you can neglect, toss around, leave in the car, etc...then get the Paxe. If you want a hand-forged cutting tool that will last a lifetime given the proper care, then save your pennies for the GB. They're worth every red cent.
