Ya'll know how I feel. Words, typed or otherwise, arent enough. But thank you anyway.

To my fallen friends, I still think of you.
To those still with me, I'm here for you as you are for me.
To those I've met but do not know, you still mean the world to me.
To those I've never met and never will, I still pray for you everyday.

November 11th here. 11:00am.
Light snow on the ground, cold, and silent.

My toast is to those young men and women who joined up for lack of economic opportunity at home or conscripted by the draft, suffered through every long year of service and looked for that honorable discharge first chance they got. Bless their hearts, they were there and did what needed to be done.

To those who served well, from one who served badly. I was a young, stupid drunk who didn't know what honor meant. Ahh, for a second chance...

You have my eternal gratitude.

A salute to all who served, and a tip of my hat to those who were not in the military, but gave us the home support we so desperately needed. :gob_beer

Thanks to all who served and still serve today. Thank you for protecting my family, my country and my myself.

If I could do it all over again, I would have joined your ranks. Thank you.

You still serve everyday Ice, you are a cop. I would argue that is much the same thing as military service.

As I posted on WB, I drove through Dahlonega, Ga. on my way to Neels Gap. I saw the roads filled with memorial posts of the fallen victims of our countries battles. It made me grateful that today, I have a place to hike because of them. I am proud to have served my Country. Thanks to all the men and women of our Armed Forces for this gift.
