we all have a tarp of some type around the yard. These dog tie out for a little ones i got these at the dollar store to hold my tarp on my wood pile better then tent stakes.

That ought to hold er down in a wind storm. Now you need a better tarp to match your hold downs...

I like to use gallon plastic milk jugs for tie downs.
I fill the jug full of water and tie off to the handle.
They're only 8 pounds full, but it works pretty good, and gives me an easily moveable tie down.
Occasionally a jug will burst when they freeze in the winter, but they're also easily replaceable.

-We lost our dollar store, it closed.- I think they're going the way of the 5 and dime stores.

Well on my tie down i leave it a little lose and leave front and back open no over hang then the wind can blow thew it dry it out better. And if no going to rain open up so sun can help.I been out 2 or 3 in the morning to do a cover hear the rain on my roof but the snow a Llttle hard to hear :bike:
