I went with the NEST from JRB. could not find enough good info on the HH underpad, but wait to see what others say.

I also bought the JRB Nest for the same reason. It's very warm. When I don't need that much warmth I use just a JRB Weathershield to stop the wind from cooling my back.

I think the Nest more versatile. I've used it as a quilt & have been very happy with it in that configuration too.

I would get a closed cell foam pad and sleep inside the hammock with it and make a tyvek undercover if you feel the need for one.

i used the 1/4 in pad from speer on night and was ok down to 45. i got the 40 inch wide and cut it in the shape of a light bulb. didn't roll off it once.
