Marking threads

I subscribe to the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association's forum. See "forums" at http://www.wcha.org/toc.html (That, incidently, is a great site for anyone with an interest in classic canoes)

WCHA uses the same format as this forum, but one feature of that forum which I quite like is that there is a mark on the icon at the beginning of each thread to which I have contributed. Nothing spectacular, just a spot on the envelope (they use an envelope icon in place of the campfire)indicates a thread to which I have contributed.

That way, whenever I log on it is really easy to pick out and re-visit those threads to which I have posted.

Canoe Blue, at the bottom of the field where you type posts, there is a block you can check so you recieve email notifications of any replies to that thread.

They are called dot icons. I don't have a special icon made for these dot icons, but there is a setting for them in the software. If I enable them now, it would show envelopes with dots on them.
