:aetsch: 10 or 15 years back I spent many days and hours working on this Trail. I cleared the footpath, painted the blazes (both directions) and with the help of The Corp of Engineers, I built a couple of needed bridges, only to have a flood wash them away. There are numerous camping areas along this Trail but none with a water source. One end is located at the Walter Hill Bridge north of Murfreesboro on Hwy #231, the other end is near Nice Mill Dam just out of Florence, Tennessee. One camping area is in an historical area where an early settlement once stood. There are still foundation embankments to be seen. I have not been available to do any maintenance on this Trail during these years and do not know if the Tennessee Trails Association, who is supposedly in charge of it, has done any. I hope that sometime next year
