Anyone planning to visit this great park this season?
I'm tentatively heading back out to the Isle 8/18/10-8/30/10.

It's time to harvest the "free fruit". Thimbleberries, raspberries, and blueberries all come into season at relatively the same time; a great supplement to your diet, that one does not have to carry.

Hike to the park should be quite an adventure?

I hope you got in some hiking prior to this, this summer.
I was wondering if you fell of the face of the planet.
Sorry to hear about your wife, I hope she mends well.
We'll get there one day. Keep in touch.

I may hit north manitou island for a weekend the end of august or early september. depends on how the healing process goes.

I finally found the original Ryan Island photo, prior to resizing and photo shopping the overlay to make as an avatar.

Notice the difference in August water levels in the 2005 and 2010 photos of the Siskiwit Lake spill.
In 2010 you could have walked around the lake on the rocks of the shore, not in 2005!

I've got the third week off in September this year. Unless something changes I will be on the Isle for 5-6 days.

We're gonna hook-up, right?

I was thinking the LT in August; but, put me down for Sept. on the Isle.

Wanna take a canoe? Kayaks? Whateva.

Need more photos? It's all good.

sounds like a winner. Let's start planning. I have a good kayak, so bringing it along could be possible.
