That looks cool.

10K made a suggestion on TSTSRN about making a companion app, I'm installing the android app creator now.

Man, designing apps can be hard. I haven't found any information about how to do this.

I always wondered how tough it would be.

Are there no instructions or help files with the app creator?

We were talking at the jail, they should have an app that keeps you out of range for warrants for your arrest. Like: Danger do not go within 100 miles of Atlanta, they have a 75 mile pick up on your warrant.

One year ('98?) I had the better part of a tractor trailer load in my basement. 600 cases or something as I remember. I couldn't decide which was the bigger hassle - distributing the cookies to the troops or accounting for all the money.

It's a damn profession. I have a friend whose brother in law works for a company who makes apps for iPhone. Pretty damn lucrative too from what I understand. I can't see how at $1-$5 for most paid apps.

I've handled the money for scouting popcorn sales and for scouting "camp card" sales. Major pain in the ass. I have sworn I'll never do it again!

Which by the way, anyone local wanna buy some girl scout cookies? We are taking pre-orders.

I always just buy mine from the kids at the Kroger entrance.

Damn they do make some good cookies:
Samoas
Thin Mints
Shortbread (they call them something else now)

Have2P (http://www.have2p.com/have2p)

With Have2P, you can use your iPhone, iPod touch, or Android phone to quickly find listings of nearby spots that have restrooms. And Version 2 makes it easier than ever!

•Automatically detects your current location to find restrooms in the local area
•Scan helpful tips noted by others, like whether the restroom is for patrons only, if it has a changing table, and how clean it is
•An urgency detector senses when you (and the phone) are shaking and starts a fresh search for nearby restrooms
•Use restroom ratings for when you actually have a choice
•See restrooms on a map
•Add new restrooms to share with others
•Find other places nearby with expanded search capabilities
•Avoid businesses that have been flagged for having no public restrooms – saving you precious time
