My 15 year old son is 6'4" and growing. He needs a good three season bag. He loves my Big Agnes Horse Thief. Originally I was thinking about their Zirkel, but he is already pushing their height limit and he is still growing. Given the cost of a good bag, I'm reluctant to buy one he will outgrow...Clothes are bad enough! Any suggestions?
I'm considering Western Mountaineering's Badger. Can anyone give me a review of this bag?
Wiggys will custom make bags to size... and while I dont know a ton about them (see thread below) Arktis makes bags for tall people.

As a medivac specialist in Northern Alaska my average outside work temp. was -20 with wind-chills between -50/-75. I used only products made by Wiggy's. From my survival clothes and overboots to my sleeping bag. They work great! I once called Jerry and worked out a designed for a vest and bibs made with nomex (fire retardent). I am sure he will make you a sleeping to your specifications. Go to www.wiggys.com. You can't go wrong.
I now live in South Central Alaska and it gets plenty cold. I just ordered a Hennessy Hammock and can't wait to try it out with my Wiggy bag and ground pad.

I have a Wiggy ultralite (+20F). I am happy with it. It does not pack like down and it does not loft like my TNF Bluekazoo, but it should last forever because while not (as the name would imply) ultralite it is durable #10 zipper and all that. You don't have to worry about getting it wet which is a real consideration here in Georgia.
