Dayskin

I need a daypack in my work and was intrigued by the Gearskin by Moonbow. But it's bigger than I need for now (although I'm contemplating buying one), so I sat down to design a smaller version, a "dayskin".

Please NOTE that I haven't built one yet (waiting for some suitable fabric and some nylon locks) so the design is a prototype. But I'd appreciate your input nonetheless. It's better to know stuff before cutting the fabrics, and I'm new at these things.

am putting together one similar reduced a little in size from the gearskin, using a mesh(stiff mesh laundry bag) and 330d cordura just at very bottom for wear and at strap attach points. i am only putting 3 clips on each side but retaining 2 at the top. still have not decided for or against the hip belt. will probly go without it initially and then decide. no guarantee on how the mesh will perform but thats the fun of rolling your own. good luck with your pack.
