We got hacked.

I've brought it back from the dead and done an upgrade at the same time. Some buttons and such are missing, and it will take some time to get back to normal, so work with us here as we get it going again.

I'm so confused. Are we green or yellow or blue nowadays? No matter I suppose. Most of the heinously crazies (I. E. The HC crowd) couldn't behave if you paid them to do so. (Myself included...)

is this a case where we should change our passwords etc?

is this a case where we should change our passwords etc?

Everyone should have a complex* password for every website that involves personal info.

*complex = at least 8 characters with at least three of the following:

1 or more - lower case
1 or more - upper case
1 or more - numbers
1 or more - special characters, but not all website accept these, so just go with the first three

G@torBl0ws is an example of a complex password, where all four of the above were used.

looks like this site accepts special characters - password changed

but in any case there is dang little of my personal data in this site (or any other with the HOI user name)

Actually the only one that seemed to be affected by the hack as far as user info goes was Toot... I mean Rock. ;)

Right hand column. If it's an HC Forum it will say HC. If it doesn't it's the open HHQ.
