Taken from a game camera near Powdersville, SC...that's SE of Greenville in Upstate SC

Possible Jaguar...look at the tail and color. I saw one in the local mountains, seems they are moving North.

Looks like a cougar, but it is black.

Black cougars have been reported being seen in Kentucky and the Carolinas, but have never been confirmed, because no one has ever taken a photograph of one, only eyewitness accounts with no proof.

You need to contact your local forestry division. That pic may be worth a lot of money.

I think it is too, but I don't know how to tell. The picture was sent to the hostess of a local interest TV show based out of Spartanburg, SC. She posted it to FB and asked for opinions.
