My problem is that I don't pay enough attention to the new gear coming out, so I don't know what the possibilities are. I'm pretty happy with the Kelty Haiku 4200 and my HH, which are the first new pieces of equipment I've gotten in quite some time. Apparently my MSR Whisperlite stove got damaged in transit a while back, so I may need a new one of them rascals, but I've been hiking with MREs so often that I normally skip the stove to begin with.

Sgathak, most of the stuff I'd like aren't available out there yet.

There's the smaller Gearskin, the zipperless cagoule, the navigation binoculars, the combined fishing rod/walking stick/tent pole and the thermos-sized rocket stove...

So much to try and so much to learn.

afterthought thingies:
* pocket destiller
* silnylon one-pole loveshack
* camo kangaroo stick
* nightvision camera cellphone
