I thought it was Flag Day.

Is Ray gonna juggle flags? He'll have to do a ceremonial burning if he drops one.

This shirt (http://www.sheplers.com/Scully-Patriotic-American-Flag-Western-Shirt/1473.pro?relationType=searchResults) and these pants (http://www.bestmmagear.com/t-micheal-us-flag-baggy-pants-913/)with this hat (http://www.theflagshirt.com/Brushed-Cotton-Canvas-USA-Flag-Newsboy-Cap-p/wh-2119-%20newsboy%20cap.htm).

I'm not showing my socks though. They're kinda embarrasing.

According to this, the Army is 4 months older than the squids.

And then their first boat was a row boat.

We had lobster and steak at the DFAC here yesterday to celebrate the Army's birthday. They wanted over $7 for the meal rather than the less than $5, and since I don't eat lobster or much steak, I went to the on-post Mexican restaurant instead. I was told the DFAC was crowded.

Happy belated Army bubbas!

Oh and happy, uh, something or other to you too Ray.Thx. I don't remember ever making as big a deal out of the Army's b-day as the Marines made out of theirs. But any reason to drink beer is a good reason except a wake.

World Juggling Day is June 16th, nearest Saturday to the solstice. In mid-June '47 the juggler nerds broke away from the magician performers union and formed their own association. Jugglers took the balls, clubs and unicycles while the magicians kept the beautiful female stage assistants.

Juneteenth, June 19th, is a big celebration in Texas for african-americans that my german-czech family payed close attention to. Farmers in most states have a market date target of July 4th to get the best price for watermelons. My grand-uncles gambled each year and planted some acres early hoping to get to market before June 19. They made good money in years they hit both holidays but a late frost could wipe out the early planting and hurt their pocketbooks.

wearing an outfit like that and people might think you're Warren Doyle...:ahhhhh:That was pretty low there, Jermm. Just sayin'.

Just because I'm a juggler doesn't mean you can insult me any which way.
