I don't know if it is the best place to get it, but here is where I get mine: http://wesspur.com/throw-line/zing-it-throw-line.html

How much do you need?

don't know - I just recently started making things with Dynaglide and I was thinking of having a ready supply around here so that if I get inspired to make something the supplies would be at hand

The place Rock gave you has cheaper prices than I got. If you just need a few feet, I will have some with me in Hiawassee.

You could try www.sherrilltree.com they are in North Carolina

I was going to suggest a Harley-Davidson dealership, but then I saw the picture...

HOI, looks like there's a store near me. I won't be in Hiawassee but I could bring it to Scales is you can wait that long and need me to pick it up.

well its been 6 months and I am just about to the end of the first 1000 ft. - I'm real tempted to go for the 2400 ft. selection cause its a bit cheaper/ft - see http://www.cbknot.com/dynaglide-throw-line.html for the best price I have found for that length ($301.44 / 2400 ft). Wesspur price is now up to $184 / 1000 ft. Any other suggestions?

Not from me. I've not researched it in depth. Maybe if you want to buy in real bulk you can get it directly from a manufacturer like Sampson Rope?

I thought Dyna Glide was a GMC transmission. Don might have one in his car....oh, his is a standard.

I've looked over the New England Ropes website but as far as I can see there is no place to order any of their products - they seem to work through distributors only. Here is their page on DynaGlide: http://www.neropes.com/product.aspx?mid=AD5A655BCA5BFA2A6B340F8F4F462C5D&lid=3&pid=94

Try comparing reddenmarine.com to the place SGT Rock suggests. Redden will give a 5% discount to your entire order if you use the code "hammockforum."

Redden has Amsteel and ZingIt, but a search turns up nothing for DynaGlide.
