I wear soloman trailrunners.How do montrail shoes compare;or is there a better shoe-your recommendations?

its too difficult to get fit recommendations over the net - what works great for one person will not work well for another just due to differences in the structure of their feet

I've found it helpful to go to a store or outfitter that has a huge selection and just try shoes on.

Wishbone, I usually wear trailrunners also. If you go hike the West Highland Way, I would highly recommend something a little tougher - I switched to my Keens after the first day because of the beating my feet were taking from the rocks/stones.
