I may have told y'all the story. But both times I flew out of Iraq we used chartered aircraft. We got on the plane with pistols, rifles, machineguns, etc. But couldn't have nail clippers or small pocket knives because of TSA rules.

That's hiarious. We went through a shake down on the way to Vietnam in 1966 so they could take our personal weapons away from us. The government makes no sense.
One of my friends called TSA and learned that golf clubs are ok but plastic juggling clubs are still prohibited.
Good, that means TSA is doing it's job.
How the hell does one have golf clubs as carry on baggage???
you can only carry on 2 clubs.

was a donkey involved?
you can only carry on 2 clubs.
Assuming the putter doesnt count against the limit what happens if you chose a short iron and a driver and you find yourself really needing a long iron for accuracy?

If I get 2 clubs, it's going to be a 5 iron and a wedge.
Who flys to a golf outing and only takes two clubs?

It had to be said.
5 iron is easy to swing, and the wedge comes in handy for prying them off the ice.
golfers would take their putter and driver. The ones you have are always better.

W.C. Fields was asked if he was in favor of clubs for women. He said "Only if kindness fails!"

Can someone fix this. It is flash, which is another fault with this piece of shit iPad. It's Tim Conway as Dorf, the midget golfer.

I miss Tim, also Carol, Ernest, Vickey, Harvey. Seems to me comedy's not as funny as it was then.

So... how does one go about cleaning their fingernails with a machinegun?

I'm not going to complain if I can carry my little Leatherman Squirt PS4. It is flat stupid that a pen knife is going to be OK but a boxcutter is not. Whatever! Anyone who watches TV knows that a shoelace or ballpont pen can be used as a weapon. The whole thing is a futile waste of time and money, therefore a small victory for the "bad guys" every day. We put in those invasive scanners and give up more of our personal freedoms while they move on to implanted bombs. Is anyone else reminded of Mad Magazine's Spy VS Spy?

TSA folk do stupid stuff like feel up our Norwegian granny to make it seem fair to Ahmed and his cousins all the time. We wonder at allowing a pocket knife simply because it is an all too rare for them to make a common sense call I guess. I hope this trend grows...heck I hope we actually do what we should have been doing since the 70s when all this crap started. Locate the snakes and kill them until they are an endangered species then let go most of the TSA.
