went to the island this weekend to try and clear a couple of tent sites. Suzy had posted a picture of a log carved into a couch on FB and I thought that would be a good idea for the fire circle. I'd asked Kanga to bring an adze so we could try to shape a log. Skids found an excellent fallen oak log and I asked Kanga to let me see her adze.

my nose only bleeds now if I blow it too hard.

My swinging hand tools (axes, fire rake, brush cutter) all get their handles wrapped with hockey stick tape for better control.

Could you get a good grip on Kanga's adze?
