Climbing Mount Pinatubo

Hi All,

I will go next week on a business trip to Manila and have a weekend to spend freely. I have read in the http://jeepneyguide.com/hiking that is possible to climb Mount Pinatubo on a daytrip from Manila.
Does anybody has done this and is it safe to do so?
