I just opened up CNN's website and saw this. What a shame, this man was a major part of so many great comedies.

Caddyshack
Ghostbusters
Stripes
Animal House
Analyze This
Groundhogs Day

and many more.

He will be missed.

He and John Hughes both played a big part in my love of movies during my adolescent years. Dang.

I am trying to figure out if my friend Jeff's Hospice will have enough corned beef and cabbage for his annual St. Patty's day party and you are making jokes over a star's death?

When my brother was in the hospital apparently dying of a stroke, he said something funny to the nurse. She said "well, you haven't lost your sense of humor". His response - "it will be a cold day in hell before that happens". He died a couple days later. There was no cold day in hell. We laughed a lot at his funeral. Death sucks for the dying and the living, but life must go on.

He died from complications of an auto-immune disease.

That struck close to home...

Looking at that list of movies, he had a huge impact on my sense of humor.
