A church key is a canopener ,one that makes triangle shaped holes in the top of the can ,for pouring drink mixes and such. Fiberglass insulation is just that, insulation that is made of fiberglass ,its made for insulating walls of houses etc and you can get small rolls of it for a few bucks at Home Depot,Lowes etc,or you can find peices at a construction site. It is usually yellow or pink.Streamweaver

P.S. If you look on the page that has the cat stove instructions theres a picture of all the supplies you will need to make the stove.click to inlarge the pic and right between the scissors and the hole punch there are 2 diferent sized church keys and in front of that the yellow stuff is the fiberglass insulation. Then atleast youll know what you are looking for. Good luck with the stove. Streamweaver

thanks for helping.
apperently we don't have church key's in Israel. i guess it's because we are jewish and we don't go to church, but to synagogue... another reason might be that we killed Jesus (seen the Passion yet...). I hope black humer is allowed and that I won't get panished by the SGT. I'd been in the Israeli Army for 3 years and got enough confinement for a life time...
Any way i'm glad to be a member of this great forum!!! I think it's well design and very helpful.
On april first i will start hiking The Israeli National Trail you can find my journal at http://www.trailjournals.com, search for my name, i'm still waiting for the direct link.

love & peace for all

CHURCH KEY (http://hikinghq.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=790) -Im not sure If you noticed it but theres another thread posted about the church key and theres even a link to a page that tells why it is called a church key. Ive known for a long time what a church key is but I always wondered why it was called that. Good luck on your hike ,I bookmarked the link to your trailjournal and it will be interesting to follow your progress.

P.S. nobody has kicked me off for my jokes yet, HA HA!!! Streamweaver
