Holy cow folks, went to 3 historical bridges with my magnet, one of which happened to be a covered bridge. Really got on top of some really old and really unique stuff at the last sight. Hope you enjoy.
This is a really underrated hobby.

I admit, I only skipped thru some of it. It DID look like an old wood wheel (hoop and hub). Looked like a 50 percent of a claw of either a hay grabber (hoist the bails into the barn) or ice tongs (I'm leaning to hay, Ice tongs are smaller). What other main neat items did you fish up?

I have a question - how hard is it to clean magnets? Do you bread them and drop them in a fryer, or just pan fry?

Sorry, but I've never fished for magnets. Caught plenty of brookies in my day.

My daughter pulled up a 3.5 ft long scythe and I pulled up an old grain weight, which is pretty rare these days.
