North Carolina is a great place to hike!

This is where I really got into hiking. Most people seem to talk about the AT in North Carolina, but there are a lot of great places to go. Cradle of Forestry, Joyce Kilmer (absolutly beutiful), and other places are some of the best trails I have hit.

Any NC hikers out there?

For a great day hike, this gets my vote.

They also have a zoo and don't forget about the Mile High Swinging bridge.

For a kick butt workout, do the 5 mile round trip summit hike.
