Isle Royale National Park, Michigan
Anyone planning to visit this great park this season?
I'm tentatively heading back out to the Isle 8/18/10-8/30/10. It's time to harvest the "free fruit". Thimbleberries, raspberries, and blueberries all come into season at relatively the same time; a great supplement to your diet, that one does not have to carry.

my wife had knee replacement surgery last monday. looks like I'm out again this year. THis is on my really want to do list

Where has that sheepdog been?
I hope you got in some hiking prior to this, this summer.

I may hit north manitou island for a weekend the end of august or early september. depends on how the healing process goes.
